just an observation

As I was out running errands this morning, Connor and I stopped at a few stores that had children's clothing (even though that's NOT what we went shopping for).  It's the time of year again that spring/summer clothing is coming out and I observed again this year that there are way more adorable clothes for girls than boys. 

Can someone please explain to me why...

getting ready for HEART day

The valentines are down and ready for the backpacks....I'm beginning to wonder if we will end up with as much candy as we had at Halloween.  It will definitely be a "sugar high" weekend.

Snow Day!!!

The boys enjoyed the new snow that we got yesterday, especially the big pile that Mike made after snowplowing the driveway (which in itself was a surprise it doesn't get done often.)   They loved jumping off the pile after trying to get to the highest point of the pile.  Brendan started digging a cave, which is still a work in progress.  It was also a new break from me, as I didn't hear all the fighting and didn't have to stop the boys from running around in the house.

Our vacation is over, unfortunately.

I've spend the last two days recovering.

Tomorrow is back to reality.
