No TV Week

Yesterday, Brendan came home with the idea that we couldn't watch TV this and that he was going to win a big prize if he didn't. Each day he needs to go back to school with a slip saying what he did instead of TV. Well, I have to admit that's a hard one at our house. There is usually two tellies on at all time in this house. BAD habit. but I am proud to say that the boys didn't watch any tv today. That also might that mommy needed to come up with some new things for them to do. We played outdoor in this awesome 70 degree weather that we have right now, then we would come inside and play with legos, then go back outside....You get the picture. Well I found this book of directions of how to draw different animals, so I made Brendan sit down and start drawing. He amazes me, I don't think I could draw this good. Way to Go Brendan!!!!!

Warning: Those with weak stomach, please look away Part 2

Ouch!!!!!
Austin's not as happy after getting his pinky toes bandagaed up.

Warning: Those with weak stomaches please look away

So it begins, the season of bumps and bruises.
In a matter of one week we had 3 bloody toes and a chin spilt wide open.
(of course that was from a slippery tile floor.)

Lucas is feeling much better now that his toes is bandaged up.
Maybe now they will wear the shoes for more than 10 minutes, which then get left outside for the dog to get.

back to reality

After two super long car rides, a couple of short days, which we spent the majority of the time running after the kids or reminding them to put their life jacket back on, and a little bit of sun soaking, we are back home.
Where did the sunshine and a warmer temps go? I did try and bottle some up but I guess that didn't work. LOL

We took the boys mini golfing...I think that's the fastest round of golf Mike has ever played!!!

Brendan said he was having more fun writing the postcards than swimming.
What's up with that?

On of the nights we went Downtown Disney and visited the Lego Store. Of course couldn't leave the store without some more legos....I need to go and break up the fight about who gets what legos.

Bad Guy Eater 3000

Brendan has gotten into building what he calls tranformers lately and he always comes up with some crazy name to go along with it.
Here's the latest....Bad Guy Eater 3000.

Were does he come up with this stuff?

Plan B

This past Saturday we had big plan to take the 3 oldest to a Griffin's hockey game. They had expressed interest in the hockey game after Mike and I went to a Red Wing's game a few week ago. Mike and I had five tickets that weren't for any game in particular so we thought we could go to the ticket counter before the game and get some tickets. Well.....we got to the arena on Saturday and the game was sold out. Now the question, how do you tell three boys ages 6, 4, and 4 that the tickets are sold out and we can't got to the game. AND how do you get rid of the feeling that you just throw a 10 dollar bill down the drain for parking?

Plan B needed to take affect on Satuday night.....Chuck E Cheese. Yes, Mike traded in his night of hockey for a family night at Chuck E Cheese.

I can't say that my boys were really into the games. They liked the rides. The twins pretty much liked two games...the egg counter game and the excavator game, which I would sum up as a slot machine. Brendan liked a few more games, but I think may be it's the age different.

Stopped in my Tracks

Ok I admit I've been one those who has been complaining alot of how long winter has been. I really would like spring to be here NOW!!! But this morning when I got up, God changed my thoughts and had me thinking how beautiful and pure white clean it looked this morning. It made me stop in my tracks and realize that maybe I have been complaining too much...I need to appreciate the beauty in every thing that God has made. At least Mr. Sunny is out and shining.
