I {HEART} beach pictures

As if you didn't already know, I love taking pictures. Almost any place I go I have the camera with me. I may not use it, but it's there just in case.
This past Saturday night, we headed out to Holland to have dinner with my family at the state park beach. Of course I was geeked, because that meant I could got some pics of the boys on the beach. I LOVE beach pics and here are a few of my favorites from Saturday night.

And just so you know, I am working on getting the camping pictures together. I hope to have them up on the blog soon. ;-)

Psst....this is Top Secret

I've been hiding cupcakes in here so my mommy can't find them. Now I can run around, grab a few nibbles and keep myself under the radar. I really don't want my mommy to know.

Can you guess which one I am?

Wordless Wednesday

this is what happens....

...when I forget to put the food behind locked doors.
( and he (not sure which one) only had about 15 minutes to do this when I was get ready to go away yesterday. He's a sneaky one.)

Celebrating the 4th

After Mike finally got finished working on the 4th, we went out to celebrate as a family. We started off with a cookout at Brent & Kerri's house. The boys loved jumping on the trampoline and playing in their giant sandbox. After stuffing ourselves with much delecious food, we headed over to the Overisel Fireworks. As always there was plenty for the boys to do; face painting, hayrides, sparkles, wheelbarrow baseball and much more. It was great!!!!!

Austin choose a whale

Lucas wanted balloons
and Brendan, a flag. (I think that's a pretty bad excuse for an American Flag)
The boys waiting for their turn on the hayride.

Mike keeping Connor away from the oncoming tractor.
Not the best family photo - but it's the memories, right?
Austin hiding from the camera
Connor Connor waiting patiently for the fireworks to begin.

after about 40 minutes of fireworks, we left so we didn't get home after midnight. I found out later that fireworks went on for another 20 minutes. Now that's a show!!!!!!
Thanks to Mr. Broekhuis for his love of his community and fireworks.
