just an observation

As I was out running errands this morning, Connor and I stopped at a few stores that had children's clothing (even though that's NOT what we went shopping for).  It's the time of year again that spring/summer clothing is coming out and I observed again this year that there are way more adorable clothes for girls than boys.

Can someone please explain to me why...

  1. i have no explaination but it certainly is not fair. not only is the sheer amount of clothing for girls better but it is all so much cuter. my boy can only wear so much blue!

  2. Cara,
I never really noticed this since I have always had girls and sisters, UNTIL I started doing foster care and Lamar moved in. I was shocked at how limited I was in selections for him. I agree that blue only goes so far.

  3. The only thing I can think of is that most people buy more for girls than they do for boys. It seems that some people are far more willing to "splurge" on girl stuff than boy stuff.

  4. i agree - i would save a lot more if i had a boy! just think, no bows, no flowers, no tutu's (even if made the cheap way), and way less shoes...it all adds up!
